The Chemical Injection Mandrel is a tubing retrievable injection system that is installed as an integral part of the tubing string. It features a non-welded side-pocket body with a permanently installed injection valve. A chemical injection line is strapped to the tubing and connected to the check valve, which then routes chemicals from the surface to the wellbore.
This system is used to inject various chemicals into the well to prevent scale or paraffin deposition, hydrate plug formation, and other production-related issues that could negatively impact flow assurance.
✅ One-Piece, Non-Welded Body – Enhances structural integrity and reliability.
✅ Dual Check Valves with Metal-to-Metal Seal – Ensures leak-proof injection and flow control.
✅ Rupture Disc Design – Allows for control line testingafter installation to verify system integrity.
✅ Maintains Flow Assurance – Prevents blockages and ensures consistent production flow.
✅ Wide Range of Materials Available – Can be customized to match specific well environments and chemical compatibility.
🔹 Scale & Paraffin Deposition Prevention – Ensures continuous flow without blockages.
🔹 Hydrate Plug Formation Prevention – Critical for flow assurance in subsea and deepwater wells.
🔹 Corrosion Inhibitor Injection – Helps protect wellbore and tubing integrity.
🔹 Well Stimulation – Supports chemical treatments to enhance production efficiency.
