The overshot has been design to provide a solution to latch and cut Coiled tubing through the most challengingof well-bore restriction. The overshot is running by tubing, when overshot bottom guide shoe connect with fish coiled tubing, continueto apply a certain downward force, or rotating while running in, thus the fishtubing head will come into overshot, the inverted toothshape fish slips will hold tightly with the outside of fish tubing, thenpull up, the overshot slip with bite with the fish, then be able to pull fishstring out of well. When the liftingforce reach to rated force, but the fish sting still stuck, then decision can be made to cut the fish string with cutting blade, then the cutting section of tubing can be pull out of wellhead. To repeat this work, until all the fish sting can be pull out.
