AS1X-10K single string Mechanical Set Retrievable Packeris a retrievable, double grip, compression or tension set packer that is suitable for zone isolation, treating, testing, injection, pumping and production applications in deep or shallow wells. Once set, the tubing string can be left in tension, compression or in a neutral position. A large internal bypass reduces the swabbing effect during run-in and retrieval, and closes when the packer is set. When the packer is released, the bypass opens first, allowing the pressure to equalize before releasing the upper slips. AS1X-10K Packer also features an upper slip releasing system thatreduces the force required to release the packer. A non-directional slip is released first, making it easier to release the other slips.
⚫Can be set with tension or compression.
⚫Only 1/4 right hand rotation required to set and release.
⚫Remains set in either tension, compression or neutral position.
⚫Rated to 10,000 psi high differential pressure from above or below.
⚫Internal bypass reduces swabbing.
⚫Bypass valve is located below the upper slips, so the debris is washedfrom slips when the valve is opened.
⚫Versatile design for a variety of applications ranging from ProductionPacker to Bridge Plug to Service Packer.
⚫Optional safety shear release features available upon request.
⚫Can be configured with Carbide Inserted Slips & Drag Blocks forpremium casing.
