The swell packer system can be used either in cased or openhole wells. In some openhole applications, operator may be able to avoid cementing and perforating altogether, reducing the expense associated with these operations. By reducing well construction costs, saving rig time, and isolating producing zones, the swell packer system attain previously unachievable levels of oilfield performance.
