The TORRENT frac sleeve is a ball-drop-activated multistage fracturing sleeve designed for openhole conditions. For each ball pumped from surface, a corresponding sleeve downhole is opened, allowing communication between the casing inside diameter (ID) and the formation of interest. The stimulation operation is continuous, with balls of increasing outside diameter (OD) being pumped from surface as the operation works towards the heel of the wellbore. After all sleeves are shifted open, seats can be milled out to allow for zones to be closed or re-opened utilizing one of TORRENT's advanced shifting tool options which are suited for various applications. The TORRENT frac sleeve provides operators with the ability to maximize reservoir recovery by shutting off zones that are producing excess water or unwanted gas. It is an ideal solution for reaching production with less time, money, and resources.
