The JY Casing Scraper is a versatile wellbore cleaning tool that can function as either a non-rotating fixed casing scraper or a rotating casing scraper. When used as a fixed casing scraper, an adjustable pad is installed on the top sub to prevent rotation. Conversely, when the adjustable pad is removed or reduced, the tool operates as a rotating casing scraper.
It is primarily used for removing cement, sand, residual bullets, scratches, paraffin, burrs, and other deposits from the inner casing wall, ensuring a clean surface for downhole operations.
